Job Description Role Purpose: The Part Time Facilities and Health & Safety Assistant supports the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of all HFIS campuses. Working under the direction of the Facilities and H&S Manager, this role ensures that the buildings, grounds, and equipment are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with local health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Facilities and Maintenance Support: Support the Facilities and H&S Manager with the coordination of daily maintenance, cleaning, and repair tasks. Conduct regular site checks to identify maintenance issues and report them promptly. Liaise with contractors and service providers on-site, ensuring work is completed safely and to standard. Assist with setting up, dismantling, and moving equipment and furniture for school activities, meetings, and events. Support the coordination of maintenance requests, ensuring prioritisation and timely resolution. Maintain records and assist with the filing of invoices, quotes, and service reports.
