Bealings School are seeking a Caretaker to ensure that the school is maintained in a clean, safe, secure, and welcoming condition for pupils, staff, and visitors. The role combines cleaning duties with general premises maintenance and site responsibilities. - Bealings School - Address: Little Bealings, Woodbridge, Suffolk IP13 6LW - Salary: Grade 3 Point 3, £24,796 per annum pro rata - Hours: 15 hours per week, 42 weeks per year, 3 hours per day - Contract: Permanent, required to start 1 June 2026 - Reference: 8735 Your key responsibilities will include: - carrying out daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas - sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors as appropriate - emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly - cleaning surfaces, fixtures, and fittings to a high standard - replenishing consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls - reporting any cleaning supply shortages - undertaking deep cleans throughout the year.
