Job description

The Director of Pharmacy Supply Chain is responsible for leading pharmacy supply chain strategy, vendor relationships, operational performance, and pharmacy benefit optimization across the organization. This leader blends pharmacy knowledge, negotiation capability, implementation experience, and data analytics expertise to drive efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality pharmacy operations. Qualifications: Education - Negotiation and Vendor Management. Lead negotiations with manufacturers, wholesalers, PSAO's, PBM's, specialty pharmacies, and logistics partners. - Develop contracts, pricing structures, SLA's, and performance metrics. Manage vendor performance to ensure service excellence, compliance, and cost optimization. - Strategic Supply Chain Leadership. Lead planning and execution for end-to-end pharmacy supply chain operations, including retail, specialty, mail-order, and home delivery channels. Develop sourcing, contracting, and operational strategies aligned with organizational goals. - Partner with internal Pharmacy, Clinical, PBM, Finance, and Technology teams to optimize supply chain performance. - Pharmacy Benefit and PBM Expertise.
