Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Position: · Create and revise protection/control drawings of high voltage transmission and distribution substations and lines, including: o Single line, logic, three line and schematic diagrams. o Panel layouts, wiring diagrams and device developments. o Cable block diagrams and cable terminations. · Peer review of other’s drawings. · Maintain drawing files – archived, current and working revisions. · Update drawings to field as-built conditions. · Provide project support/office support as required. · Occasional travel to field sites or working at a client’s office may be required. Supervision: · N/A Professional Registration: · N/A Educational Requirements: · Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology preferred, but not required. Experience & Training Requirements: · 5+ Years’ Experience in Design of Transmission Level Substations (13.8kV – 500 kV) including: o Electrical one-lines, schematics and wiring diagrams o Low voltage auxiliary power systems (AC and DC station power) o Cable and conduit schedules o Protective Relay and Control Panel layouts and designs · Familiarity with microprocessor relays and associated options/...
