Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Diagnoses patients with cancer and develops a radiation therapy plan based on the patient’s individual needs. - Administers radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with the prescribed plan. - Monitors patients’ responses to therapy and adjusts plans as necessary. - Provides patient education on radiation therapy and its effects. - Maintains accurate patient records and documents all treatments. - Monitors and evaluates patient outcomes and success of treatments. - Collaborates with other medical professionals as needed. - Completes documentation in a timely manner. - Functions independently in most activities. Provides care for patients. Adheres to hospital /clinic policies and procedures and medical staff rules, regulations and by-laws. - Maintains orderly and efficient business practices at the clinics. - Provides supervision and direction to other clinic personnel. - Respond to emergency medical situations in an urgent manner and perform on the spot emergency assistance which may include first aid and/or CPR. - Practices and behaves in a professional, safe and ethical manner at all times. - Serves as a patient advocate. - M...
