Mechanical Design Engineer

Job description

The Mechanical Design Engineer will perform mechanical design of transformer components including main task, piping, support structures, transportation requirements, lifting and handling attachments, coservator system, sound reduction panels, heat exchanger/cooling system, coil/core and insulation and internal structures. SUMMARY: THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: THE DESCRIPTION ABOVE REPRESENT THE MOST SIGINFICANT ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE JOB BUT DOES NOT EXCLUDE OTHER OCCASIONAL WORK ASSIGMENTS NOT MENTIONED.
