Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Po sit i on H i gh li ghts: - Position: Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant - Location: Evanston and Skokie, IL - Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week) - Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00AM-5:30PM - Required Travel: Travel to other sites as needed for coverage (Evanston and Skokie) What you will do: - Answer phones - Schedule appointments - Collect co-payments - Complete patient registration - Provide other administrative support to the physician practice - Check in and check out patient - Verify insurances - Greet patients and escort them to exam room - Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit - Provide front office support as needed - Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight - Phlebotomy and injections may be required What you will need: - Education : High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
