Position Description The primary purpose of the Depots Team is to provide efficient and reliable support to delivery teams, while maintaining a high standard of security, adhering to established work practices, and ensuring strict operational controls are applied to both indoor and outdoor activities. Key Responsibilities: - The custody and security of stocks and stores premises - The physical movement of stocks in and out of stores - The implementation of a wide range of stores procedures and regulations - The control of bulk issue materials - The operation and use of computer systems, forklifts and stores handling equipment - Open & close depot daily - Ensure materials are kept accurate on the stock account - Maintain housekeeping policy Experience and Qualifications: Essential: - Leaving Certificate or equivalent work experience is essential. - A working knowledge in the use of Information Technology - An appreciation of stores operations - An ability to work with all staff groups to provide an effective storekeeping service Desirable: - Forklift Licence - Manual Handling Certificate Location: This position will be based in Portlaoise Depot.
