Job description

Overview: Quinnipiac University and the Department of Biological Sciences in the College of Arts & Sciences seeks an engaging, student-centered, and knowledgeable educator with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will primarily teach Human Anatomy and Physiology, with the possibility of contributing to introductory biology lecture and laboratory courses. While applicants from a broad range of biological disciplines will be considered, candidates with expertise relevant to Human Anatomy and Physiology are especially encouraged to apply. The Human Anatomy and Physiology sequence of undergraduate courses are typically taken by students in the allied health and nursing programs. Laboratory instruction utilizes a combination of anatomical models, mammalian organ dissection, plastinated human donors, online resources, and virtual human dissection tools. Faculty and students also benefit from Quinnipiac University’s recently opened, state-of-the-art science teaching and research laboratories within the Science, Innovation, Technology, and Exploration (SITE) building.
