Maintenance Mechanic

Job description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Coordinate with Manufacturing Supervisors and Maintenance personnel to provide maintenance support as required to allow the manufacturing process to proceed with minimal down time due to mechanical problems. - Troubleshooting of equipment - Electrical disconnects, subpanels, and main switchgear to aid in the troubleshooting process. - Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. - Calibrate various equipment. - Utilize safe work habits. - Wear appropriate PPE - Safety harness, LOTO equipment and any other safety equipment required by NOV, FGS, and OSHA. - Performs advanced carpentry projects including coordinating the build out of special projects as requested. - Assists and ensures all areas are returned to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition according to policy and procedure. - Ability to interpret internal needs through strong communication and listening skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and assignments. - Solid ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. - Familiar with all components capable of production and storing...
