POSITION SUMMARY: The Dishwasher helps by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as clean, safe, and sanitary. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Supports the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision. - Is prompt and reliable in coming to work. - Assists in clearing and resetting counters or tables at conclusion of each course. - Assists residents in the dining area if required. - Delivers prompt and courteous service. - Runs dishwashing machine. Sets up or breaks down dishwashing area. - Maintains infection control standards, updates, and inspects sanitizer and dish machine temperature logs. - Cleans dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, or utensils.
