Description PURPOSE OF POSITION: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. This position was developed to operate a concessions stand, providing a family friendly atmosphere. The position will extend the Y’s mission by creating a positive atmosphere where everyone is respected and welcomed and builds relationships with team members and members alike. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: General Operations - Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. - Take food and beverage orders accurately. - Prepare and serve food items such as popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, and beverages. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concessions area, including restocking supplies. - Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines - Assist with inventory management and product restocking. - Provide excellent customer service and resolve guest issues promptly.
