What You'll Be Doing: Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimize plant operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble Lubricate bearings, change parts, or perform other routine crusher, screen and conveyor maintenance Perform repair and maintenance involving inspection, disassembly, overhaul, assembly and adjustments of crushing and screening equipment Start crushers, screens and conveyors to observe mechanical operation and detect problems Maintain safe access of plant area from product spillage with shovels and hoses Inspect or test failed machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs Grease bearings in crushing plant according to specified procedures Install and replace bearings, speed reducers, shafts, pulleys, idlers, rollers, motors,...
