Assistant Track & Field Coach (Coaching Assistant) Compensation and Benefits: Anticipated Hiring Salary: $6,288/month: The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary: Under direction of the Head Track and Field/Cross Country Coach, the incumbent will be responsible to recruit quality student-athletes (with an emphasis in distance, jumps, throws, and sprints events) within the guidelines of the Code of Recruitment as required by the Head Coach; coach student-athletes in practice and competition; monitor the conditioning and training of the student-athletes; teach and develop sport specific skills and coaching strategies to enhance the athletic performance of student-athletes; assist in the success of team performance and eligibility criteria; organize and direct l...
