Senior Acoustics Consultant

This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Acoustic Consultant for our Arlington, VA office. The following locations will also be considered: New York, NY; and Los Angeles, CA. In this position, staff will be involved in projects with our Property & Buildings Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Responsibilities include: - Development of initial, project-specific Acoustic design goals/concepts - Development of architectural, mechanical, and structural solutions to achieve project design goals - Calculations of HVAC system noise and Reverberation Time - Periodic review of project drawings & specifications throughout design for incorporation of acoustic design elements - Survey and evaluation of existing acoustic conditions - Three-Dimensional Acoustic Modeling - Construction administration / Site Observations - Report preparation to communicate design & construction recommendations to clients and end users - Manage project schedules, deliverables, resource planning, and project financials with some oversight on small/medium projects - Assist with Project Management on large or multi-disci...
