Batch & Furnace Yard Operator Irvine Plant: Role description: Batch and Furnace team member, operating departmental equipment and vehicles, accepting deliveries, stock management supporting activities required for departmental function. Responsibilities: - Operate the departmental equipment to transport stock around the yard area. - Maintain stock in the yard area. - Communicate with supervision and work colleagues to maintain an effective communication flow. - Identify problems and ensure efficient deliveries alongside onsite support team. - Carry out housekeeping in accordance with company hygiene rules. - Comply with company health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment. - Departmental testing of materials and glass required for process. Required skills / qualifications: - Ability to complete material acceptance procedures and testing. - Ability to operate departmental vehicles. - Ability to maintain delivery systems and material storage including manual procedures. - Good communication skills.
