Job description

Description The primary responsibility of the Service Technician is to diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul machinery and vehicles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and making adjustments as necessary. - Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems. - Record details of repairs made, and parts used. - Examine and listen to equipment, read inspection reports, and locate and diagnose malfunctions. - Dismantle defective machines for repair, using hand tools. - Use diagnostic equipment to properly diagnose and reprogram ECU’s when needed - Prepare list of parts for estimates/orders - Work with service office to keep customers up to date - Maintain a clean work environment - Continue training to meet OEM requirements Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS: - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
