Description The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Urology, is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will have inpatient and outpatient responsibilities to support and complement the faculty in Urology at the Hyde Park location and affiliated off-sites. Appointees will support the prostate cancer program which entails treating, evaluating, and providing patient care directly. Appointees will also maintain a productive clinical portfolio and develop a clinical practice complemented by patient-oriented research. Additionally, appointees will focus on the prostate and GU cancer program and support the General Urology program as needed. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
