Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Summary: This position is responsible for assisting with physical therapy procedures and related tasks that have been selected by the supervising physical therapist. Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2. Successful graduation from an accredited physical therapy assistant program (unless the Physical Therapy Examining Committee has provided a qualifying opinion on equivalent training and/or experience) is required. 3. Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant with the State of California is required. Exception may be made for Physical Therapy Assistant Licensed Applicant with a requirement to obtain licensure within six months of hire into position. 4. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required. 5. Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant is preferred. 6. Experience in an acute care setting is preferred. 7. Ability to utilize physical therapy equipment safely is required. 8.
