Job description

Amentum is seeking a Software Engineer Senior to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). Essential Functions: - Participates in designing, developing, troubleshooting and analyzing software programs for new and existing systems - Develops/modifies documentation of new or existing program, as required - Conduct/support complex Level 1, 2, and 3 testing to qualify systems for Range operations - Provides feedback and reports to management on the status of each project supporting - Leads technical proposals as well as software maintenance release efforts including estimating, planning, and scheduling - Supports the efforts of all technical support personnel for assigned projects - Additional duties as assigned Required Skills: - Effective communication skills with demonstrated capability to brief project information to management and customers - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong organizational and time management skills to balance, plan, prioritize and execute projects - Ability to work within a dynamic, fast paced environment with time constraints - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Required Experience: - Bachelor’s of Science degree in Com...
