Description SUMMARY: The Division of Student Experience guides students in finding value in their experiences outside the classroom at CalArts. Campus Life is responsible for ensuring the development and supervision of the leadership development and student involvement of the CalArts student community. The Assistant Director of Campus Life will oversee student involvement experiences and the direct advice of undergraduate and graduate student governments and all affiliated leaders, boards, and committees. The Assistant Director will lead the Division of Student Experience’s student involvement efforts to further the Institute’s commitment to excellence in student advocacy, programming, and engagement. This position will supervise professional and student staff supporting all campus-wide programming coordinated by Student Union and the Institutes’ registered student organization community. Additionally, this position will support and oversee initiatives such as the Basic Need Center and similar programs that address student needs.
