Job description

Position Function: Responsible for the delivery of physical therapy services to all sports. Assist the Sr. Associate AD - Sports Medicine in athletic training needs for football and other sports as needed. Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Sr. Associate AD - Sports Medicine. Must be a dual credentialed physical therapist and certified athletic trainer or hold a ABPTS certification in sports physical therapy. Salary Grade : 16: Please see Staff Compensation Structure for salary ranges. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Oversee the delivery of rehabilitation services provided to all sports 2. Lead collaboration between the team physicians and their physical therapy departments in conjunction with the Sr. Associate AD – Sports Medicine 3. Lead the prevention and care of student-athlete injuries and illnesses with Sr. Associate AD – Sports Medicine. a. Maintain computerized health/injury records on supervised student-athletes. b. Serve as liaison between student-athletes and the team physician. This includes ensuring compliance with team physician instructions. 4.
