HealthPartners is hiring for a full-time Mammography Technologist. ***SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE***: POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT: Performs mammography screenings according to ACR guidelines. Interacts with patients in a professional and caring manner. Ensures mammography procedures are followed and maintains patient images and records in accordance with organizational policies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Completion of an Initial Mammography Training Program Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Currently registered ARRT Initial Mammography Training Certificate or proof of 40 hours training ARRT Mammography Certification within 12 months of hire in the position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong knowledge in anatomy, mammographic positioning, and proper application of radiographic principles. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of patients, age, cultures and physical conditions.
