Application Engineer - Senior

Job description

The primary role is to provide customer support through quoting, sourcing, and delivering product/parts quotations. In addition to supporting engineering and commercial tasks, this role will play an active role in supporting activities to expedite the development of processes and procedures of the APM business unit. Application Engineer Essential Functions/Success Factors: - Prioritizes and manages daily workflow, along with communicating, supporting and collaborating with Customer Service Specialists, Account Managers, Business Development Managers and Supervisors to ensure internal and external requests and deadlines are met. Employs a “QUOTE TO WIN” strategy around all opportunities and escalates issues appropriately and in a timely manner. - Demonstrates technical competency of APM Hardware and Software products and is skilled at developing BOMs that reflect customer desired solutions. Will aid in proposal development and estimating activities. - Consistently exhibits exceptional customer service that results in lasting business partnerships.
