Job description

Responsible to maintain equipment in accordance with company specifications. Routinely installs, maintains, repairs and troubleshoots all aspects of electronic and mechanical drilling instrumentations. - Responsible for ensuring instrumentation systems are installed and functioning correctly - Commission and function test new system installations - Troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical drilling instrumentation - Train rig personnel on operation of various instrumentation systems - Train and share knowledge with Jr. technicians - Maintain spare parts inventory in remote locations - Document and record part serial numbers and asset numbers to be compiled in a master database for asset tracking - Work closely with rig personnel and clients to insure customer satisfaction with rig instrumentation and monitoring system - Coordinate with the office new installations and additional equipment installations to existing jobs - Other duties may be assigned - High school diploma or equivalent - 5 - 7 years of related experience - Knowledge of electrical principles and various electrical codes - Proficient at using of various types of test equipment - Demonstrate ability to read ele...
