The Neuropathology Brain Bank & Research CoRE is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Core Research Associate I to participate in clinical and translational research related to the neurology and neuropathology of Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. The individual will interface with teams of neurologists, neuropathologists, and basic scientists, making the position ideal for someone interested in exploring the underlying mechanisms of these devastating brain diseases. The individual will report directly to the supervising neurologists and neuropathologists at both sites and participate in clinical and translational research related to Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. The position will include on-site duties at both the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and at the Regional Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center at the James J. Peters (Bronx) VA Medical Center. The Neuropathology Brain Bank & Research CoRE is an Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Dean’s Center of Research Excellence.
