NEW SALARY $61,500 $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Description: Do you want to have an important impact as a CASAC? Become an Assessment Specialist at NADAP and join a dynamic professional team. The Assessment Specialists work business hours Monday-Friday. No More Caseloads! No More Treatment Plans! Excellent work/life balance with a predictable 35 hour work-week, while working as a Qualified Health Professional. A Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) interviews clients referred to by New York City’s HRA, applying clinical judgment to determine appropriate treatment needs and levels of care. Our CASACs work with a variety of clients and interact with treatment providers daily. CASACs link individuals to chemical dependency treatment and harm reduction programs and also review progress to assist clients in recovery, leading to self-sufficiency.
