Joint Exercise Planner

Job description

Amentum is seeking a Joint Exercise Planner to support our team at Fredericksburg, VA. In this role, you will provide full spectrum personnel recovery (PR) subject matter expertise (including preparation, planning, execution, and adaptation) through to a variety of PR professionals within DoD, USG organizations, and coalition partners. Additionally, you will conduct exercise planning, execution and assessments for combatant commanders and JTF commander’s training exercises as part of the Chairman’s exercise program. Responsibilities: - Support Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and Combatant Command level exercises to include exercise planning, exercise control group and training assessments. - Support Service level exercises to include exercise planning, exercise control group and training assessments. - Achieves and maintains qualifications and skills in accordance with applicable operating instructions. - Act as a subject matter expert, supporting the development of training needs analysis. - Provide research, analysis, and advice to DoD, USG, and coalition customers relevant to PR products, tasks, publications, regulations, and other documents.
