Organization: SMF-Sutter Med Foundation- Central Position Overview: This position is for a Neuropsychologist serving adult patients and best fit would be a generalist. This role will serve both the Sacramento and Roseville campuses. Referrals are primarily from Neurology department with suspected organic etiologies but include some psychiatric rule outs. Referrals include a wide range of possible etiologies (e.g. neurodegenerative disorders, TBI/concussion, strokes, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular disorders, depression, etc.) Most work is onsite, but some telework is possible. Will provide services that identify, quantify, and describe changes in cognition and behavior associated with central nervous system dysfunction and mental health disorders. Function as a member of a multidisciplinary team and provide assessments and treatment plans for patients in a hospital/outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities include performing neuropsychological evaluations and communication of results to patients, family, and patient’s physicians.
