The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, is seeking a full-time board-certified Consultation/Liaison Psychiatrist. This position is within the Department of Psychiatry and may be filled at the level of Division Director or Attending Psychiatrist. - Collaborate with medical, surgical and obstetric teams to provide psychiatric care for patients with acute medical and surgical conditions that cannot be managed on inpatient psychiatry units - A strong commitment to teaching and supervision is required, as all adult psychiatry residents rotate through this service - Additional opportunities are available to participate in and support the Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program - MD/DO degree - Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry - Board certified in Psychiatry - Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number Compensation: We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
