Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for work which includes coordination, installation and repair of piping and equipment for mechanical systems. Individuals should be able to read and understand blueprints, communicate effectively with all other persons on the job-site, including our sub-contractors, and work as a team with other departments and divisions. Represents TP Mechanical Contractors in a professional manner. Should also be able to accept direction and/or lead and delegate work. Responsibilities and Duties: - Responsible for all on sight activity regarding manpower, materials and scheduling. Is the point of contact for the customer/general contractor/owner. - Ensures safety is the number one priority on the job-site. Conducts pre-safety meeting before job begins as well as weekly safety reports and toolbox talks. Will have completed the OSHA 30 hour training at a minimum. - Conducts appropriate preplanning when assigned a new job such as reviewing all plans and specs, identifying pre-fab opportunities, understanding scope of work.
