Division/Program Summary: The Bureau of Operations is responsible for providing maintenance and repair services to City owned and operated facilities. Plant Operations is committed to supporting the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s focus on protecting and promoting the health of all New Yorkers by providing comprehensive building services. These services include multiple building trades responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the agency’s owned and leased sites. Position Summary: The Oiler reporting directly to the Director of Plant Operations, and with the widest latitude for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative, performs professional work of difficult nature and responsibility.
