This Opportunity WSP USA is initiating a search for an Estimator (Electrical, General Construction, Mechanical, Plumbing) supporting our client, NYC School Construction Authority (SCA). The candidate will prepare and review construction cost estimates for various construction projects in various stages of development. The Estimator is responsible for providing detailed cost estimates on new construction, rehabilitation, alterations, replacement systems, Capital Improvement projects (CIP), change orders and participate in cost negotiations in all disciplines in Change Orders. Estimators are responsible Change Order estimates for all project types, including CIP and Line Project estimates. Your Impact: Job Duties: - Confer with a broad range of designers, consultants and contractors to coordinate and establish detailed cost estimates for construction projects. - Prepare and/or facilitate the preparation of detailed cost estimates for all phases of design and/or - construction. - Supervise the development of quantity surveys and cost evaluations relating to design documents, contract drawings, specifications or contract changes. - Review and report on contract estimates prepared by co...
