WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Behavioral Health Advisor is an exempt position who will conduct mental health assessments and provide ongoing individual and group-counseling services, screen immediate mental health crisis and provide crisis intervention services. Responsible for completing in-depth assessments for all clients to facilitate a thorough review of history, assess current issues and treatment needs, provide appropriate individual counseling and participation in group counseling. - Provide clinical services for the program, for adults, child and adolescent clients which includes individuais assessments, individual counseling, and group counseling. - Oversee the initial psychosocial assessments on each new client. - Provide weekly clinical supervision to program interns and provide case consultations at case staffing and STAR’s periodic staff meetings. - Conduct outreach...
