Job Description: *DNP* CBD: ZF North America Inc. has job openings (multiple) for the position of Sr Test & Validation Engineer – Virtual Validation and Simulation (Power Electronics) based out of its location in Northville, MI. Job Duties: Develop and execute virtual validation plans for power electronic components and systems. Create and maintain simulation models including MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, and/or PSIM for system-level and component-level analysis. Perform model-in-the-loop (MIL), software-in-the-loop (SIL), and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing. Collaborate with design, software, and hardware teams to define test requirements and ensure test coverage. Analyze simulation results, identify issues, and provide feedback to design teams. Support the development of automated test scripts and test benches for continuous integration and validation. Support the Technical Project Lead, System Test Manager, and other Engineers in technical discussions with the customer linked to testing and validation.
