PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Diesel Service Attendants move, fuel, clean, test and perform basic repairs on the locomotives in a fast paced, safety oriented environment in compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and enjoys working outdoors. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Fuel, sand locomotives and re-supply cab amenities, as required - Perform inspections and basic repairs on all locomotives, fuel tanks, cab equipment - Evaluate parts for reuse or replacement - Service locomotive cabs which include cleaning cab walls, locomotive toilets, windows and floors - Test all cab electrical devices, set-up cab brakes as per requirements of the train oper...
