The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Public Buildings Division, seeks a Deputy Director. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of project directors and project managers, overseeing the design and construction of capital projects, resolving project issues, and ensuring that each project meets critical target dates and is within budget. Another key responsibilities include assuring the implementation of, and adherence to Public Buildings’ policies and procedures, interfacing with the sponsor agency, assisting with any approvals and permitting needed, and preparing consultant and contractor performance evaluations.
