Job description

St. Joseph Catholic Church, located in Sykesville, MD , seeks candidates for a Coordinator of Evangelization & Adult Faith Formation . The Coordinator of Evangelization & Adult Faith Formation is a member of the Pastoral Staff and reports to the Director of Operations. The position will be responsible for Evangelization, Adult Faith Formation, and Outreach/Promotion. The mission will be to invite and assist people to grow in faith, find their place in the church and help form committed disciples. This is a benefit eligible position working 30 weekly hours. Essential Functions: - Develop creative approaches to evangelization, adult faith formation, and spiritual enrichment, and work collaboratively with other staff and volunteers, including those involved with OCIA, Baptism Preparation, liturgy, and other adult programs to facilitate spiritual growth in Catholics and non-Catholics searching for more in their faith-life. - Work with the Pastor and lay leaders to assure the implementation of the Parish Vision to be the Spiritual, Moral and Social hub of Eldersburg Sykesville including hospitality initiatives, welcoming new parishioners, and the development of small group opportunities...
