General Labor (Often times, this is a key in the door to other opportunities) It's Happening, Standard Iron is opening it's roster to add to our team!!! The General Laborer is committed to: - defect free and on time at the lowest cost possible for our customer - prevent exposures and reduce waste at the lowest cost possible for our environment Report to Dept Manager: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned) : • Follow all set-up and operational procedures to ensure accuracy and quality. - Safely operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products. - Supports production workers and staff in various production related tasks. - Ability to practice quality control requirements and to follow written procedures. - Using hand and power tools to grind and fabricate. - Operates all equipment in a safe manner and uses safe work habits. - Maintain a safe and clean working environment including complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
