PENDING CONTRACT AWARD: Job Title: Technical Publication Librarian: Location: FRCASE NAS North Island/Naval Base Coronado, CA Task Description: TECHNICAL PUBLICATION LIBRARIAN, BLS 27-3042, SCA 13090 Function: Manages and maintains all technical publications in the central/dispersed and site libraries for immediate retrieval of accurate technical information by both maintenance and management personnel. Required experience: Minimum of two (2) years or more general publication experience. One (1) year of which must be specialized in US Navy Aviation Technical Publication Inventory Control/ requisitioning/upkeep; Satisfactory completion of U.S. Armed Forces Technical Publications Librarian courses or civilian schools with equivalent curriculum or one (1) year of on the job training/experience required; Must be able to meet any Government / Company licensing / qualification requirements for the position; Thorough working knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications; COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 program awareness ISO 9001-2000 program awareness; Operational Risk Management (ORM) training; Ability to inventory, control and order maintenance technical publications an...
