The IT Asset Management (ITAM) function is responsible for maximizing the business value of technology assets while managing cost, risk, and compliance across the full asset lifecycle—from strategy and acquisition through optimization and retirement. The Director, ITAM – Software Asset Management is accountable for transforming Software Asset Management into a strategic, data driven enterprise capability. This role leads the governance, operating model, and digital evolution of SAM to ensure accurate visibility of software assets, proactive risk management, and measurable financial outcomes. The Director acts as the enterprise authority on software asset data, enabling informed technology investment, sourcing, and vendor negotiation decisions across IT, Finance, Procurement, and the business.
