Position: Espresso Barista Department: Finance & Administrative Services: Type of Position: Part-time Temporary: Exemption Status: Non-Exempt: Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies, 12 hours per week Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No: Starting Salary Range: $15.34: Position Summary: Prepare and serve food and beverages safely and accurately according to local, state, and departmental guidelines. To be considered for this position we will require an application and resume. *Unofficial transcripts are required for all Adjunct faculty and Faculty positions. - Take orders, prepare and serve beverages and operate cash register. - Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. - Maintain clean workspaces and observe proper food safety. - Ensure the Café presents a welcoming appearance with neatly displayed merchandise and make certain stock levels are maintained. - Provide relevant beverage and food recommendations to positively and proactively engage with customers.
