Job Summary: The Surgery Assistant transports patients to operating rooms, assists surgeons and circulating nurses with patient positioning. This role performs environmental tasks including cleaning the operating rooms and equipment; and ensures supplies are stocked. Minimum Education: None. High School diploma, or GED, preferred. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None. Work Experience: None. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other applicable software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal that present clear and concise information. Ability to utilize critical thinking skills. Ability to demonstrate a strong sense of personal accountability. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
