Job description

Essential Job Functions: - Serves as primary technical support for applications, such as Transportation Management System (TMS) - Serves as expert on transportation management system (TMS) logic and functionality - Ensures system integrity, including setup and control processes - Supports troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing software applications - Interfaces with Operations and Finance teams to review issues or changes. Provides regular communication to Operations and internal departments regarding operational issues, process flows, customer requirements, etc. Includes analysis, insight, and recommendations - Coordinates with other departments to resolve site technical issues impacting application use. Ensures issues are being addressed and resolved in a timely manner - Investigates and recommends new technologies and information systems appropriate for the company, where applicable - Work with system providers or other departments to obtain costs for system enhancements - Identifies application improvement opportunities.
