Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Job Description I Accountability Objectives: Transports patients to and from various locations safely and in a professional, courteous and timely manner. Maintains transportation equipment according to department standards for cleanliness and proper functioning. II Position Qualifications: Minimum Education, Licensure / Certification and Experience Required. A. Education: - High school diploma or GED or equivalent required in order to read and follow written and/or verbal instructions when following work assignments. B. Licensure / Certification: - Current Heart Saver certification. C Special Skill / Aptitudes: - Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact in an effective manner with patients/families and to collaborate with unit teams and various levels of hospital personnel. - Ability to walk and stand for up to 100% of work time.
