Press Operator- 3rd shift

Job description

As a Press Operator at our facility, you would be responsible for complete operation of the press including setting equipment guides, inspecting product, measuring dimensions of completed products and aligning machine parts. How you’ll contribute to our company: - Reconcile coil identity to production and load coil - Check and record gauge, width, hardness, camber, burr, and surface requirement and ensure compliance with customer and production requirements (record if required) - Thread coil thru leveler/flattener, feed unit - Setup dies in the press with the part and scrap chutes/conveyors - Setup the press/levelers/flattener to the proper program or required parameters - Make minor adjustments to the press/dies/conveyors to produce product at a reasonable rate - Run coil at maximum rate that will produce complying product - Monitor strip condition to ensure compliance with customer requirements and production instructions - Setup skids on the parts conveyors to ensure no disruption of production - Remove scrap from press as necessary, empty h...
