Overview Shifts Available: Days: Employment Type: Per Diem (PRN): Hours: 8-hour shift: 8a - 4:30p (hours can be flexible) Location: St. Joseph Medical Center – Kansas City, MO A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializes in diagnosing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. SLPs work with individuals of all ages to improve communication skills and enhance quality of life by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) work closely with other healthcare professionals and educate patients and family members about communication strategies to health improve speech in the patient's daily life.
