Job description

This role focuses on supporting commercial litigation matters assisting senior lawyers with disputes involving contracts, shareholders, and general commercial issues. It involves managing core litigation tasks such as drafting, discovery, evidence review, and preparing materials for counsel and mediation. Strong research and drafting skills are essential, along with 3+ years’ experience. A working understanding of court procedure supports effective matter progression across NSW courts. As part of Axiom, the role operates within a modern, flexible legal services model delivering high‑calibre support to clients. Responsibilities: Supporting senior lawyers on commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, shareholder disputes, and general commercial disputes across NSW. Managing litigation tasks through preparing court documents, coordinating discovery, reviewing evidence, briefing counsel, and assisting with mediation and settlement. Conducting legal research on procedural and substantive issues to strengthen case preparation.
