Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job description

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for the mechanical upkeep of the distribution center and will maintain, troubleshoot and repair: all conveyor, sortation, and related material handling equipment; heating; HVAC, plumbing and/or other specialized areas to ensure proper, safe and efficient mechanical/electrical operations within the Distribution Center. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician installs new, or modifies existing, equipment/systems, and as necessary designs, fabricates and installs specialized equipment. This role will be responsible for the preventative maintenance schedule and logging all maintenance related issues and actions taken. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Maintain and repair a variety of building operation systems to include plumbing, electrical, heating, refrigeration, sprinklers, etc. Inspects completed repairs. - Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment. - Maintain the appearance and integrity of the physical facility. - Performs general construction installations, maintenance and repairs.
