Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Center City 33 S 9th - Philadelphia, PA 19107Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: Up to 75%Job Shift: Day ShiftJob Summary: The Surgical Clinical Assistant (SCA) provides assistance to the Physician and Physician's Assistant with daily administrative and clinical duties. Responsibilities include assisting with post-op suture and staple removal, post-op wound care, pre-admissions testing orders, responding to patient calls and messages, and more. Key Accountabilities: Increase patient satisfaction, compliance with schedule prep, voicemail, compliance with policies and procedures, decrease wait times. Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): Greets patients in the waiting room and escorts them to the exam room. Directs patient to surgery scheduling and/or front desk for checkout. Maintains order, cleanliness, and inventory in the exam room, and prepares exam room for patients to enter. Cleans and autoclaves instruments. Provides and scans proper paperwork to the chart for Physician's review. Records vitals as per Physician's request. Prepares injections for the Physician. Pulls up x-rays, MRI's, CT's...
